Full bio

Zentrance is a Nashville-based jam band built on groove, exploration and decades of collective musical experience. Featuring members who have performed in regional acts such as Incredible Heat Machine, Emmy Sunshine, Bacchus, Blue Morning, Plainview Vibes and SkyHi, the band brings together seasoned musicians with a shared passion for improvisation, storytelling and psychedelic rock energy.

The lineup is Chris Beard (drums, vocals), Chris Ogle (bass, vocals), Ron Cook (lead vocals, guitar), Jeremy Pinell (lead guitar, vocals) and Nels Noseworthy (keys, sax). Together they blend driving rock rhythms with deep grooves, swirling psychedelic textures and narrative songwriting that keeps audiences locked in from the first note to the last encore. Their ever-growing catalog is all originals, plus a few choice covers that change with the mood of the room.

Rooted in Nashville’s vibrant live music scene, Zentrance has become a familiar presence at local gatherings and festivals, including Summer Solstice, TyeDye Festival and their own community-centered event, ZenFest. Their live shows are where the band truly thrives: songs stretch, evolve and transform as improvisation and musical chemistry guide each performance into new territory.

At its core, Zentrance is about connection: between musicians, between genres, and between the band and the audience. With a sound that bridges rock, jam and psychedelia, Zentrance invites listeners to settle into the groove and take the ride. Find your Zen!
